About the Program
Prestige Medical Coding Institute is pleased to offer nationwide virtual classes to students. The course covers CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 CM. The classes are from 6:00pm – 9:00pm EST once weekly. The classes are taught by AAPC approved instructors that brings real world experience into the classroom.

As a student of Prestige Medical Coding Institute, you will be enrolled in a comprehensive 20-week program. The program is tailored to cover all the necessary information to get students prepared for the CPC certification examination. The class meets once weekly to gain an in depth understanding of the material.
The course includes a mock exam of 150 questions, weekly tests, midterm and final exams. Discussions include coding guidelines, coding technique and strategies. We teach how to effectively document notes in the medical coding manuals, understand the process of elimination based on coding guidelines and parenthetical instructions on the exams and how to master time management. Time is spent on dissecting the medical coding guidelines so students will have full knowledge and understanding.

Exam Prep is a 8-10 week course specifically created for students who have previously not been successful with the certified professional medical coding exam. PMCI instructors will provide guidance and techniques on how to master the national certification exam.
Individual Tutoring Services
If a student is in need of one on one session with the instructor, PMCI offers this service. Instructors are here to break down guidelines, exam techniques in a way that you can understand and remember them.
